Tekno disqualified from Headies Award
Despite his huge success in 2016, Panacrooner Tekno who got a nomination in the‘next rated’ category at the 2016 Headies awards has been disqualified from the awards.
Organizers say Tekno’s nomination was withdrawn after he failed to participate in any of the pre-award activities including photo shoots and interviews. Recall that Tekno had earlier called out The Headies saying he was nominated in the wrong category.
His disqualification leaves Aramide, Humblesmith, Mr Eazi and Ycee as contenders in that category.
