Tiwa Savage plans to give birth only two Children

The mother of one said this during a radio interview on Naija FM; part of an ongoing media tour for the family planning campaign with fellow ambassador, Paul Okoye.

Both musicians, along with comedian Gordons and Nollywood actors; Mike Ezuruonye, Adekola Odunlade and Ali Nuhu, were unveiled on Friday by the Nigerian Urban Reproductive Health Initiative (NURHI) as ambassadors for the campaign themed“Get It Together”.

“Get It Together” is aimed at raising awareness about family planning, emphasizing its benefits to men and women of reproductive age, increasing contraceptive use among women and increasing access to family planning services. The official theme song for the campaign, as performed by Tiwa Savage and Paul Okoye, has just been released.

Christmas: Buhari Approves N72billion For Salaries (see chart)

President Muhammadu Buhari yesterday approved additional N71.8 billion to augment shortfall in the 2016 budgetary allocation for payment of delayed workers salaries, Daily Trust gathered. This will enable the government pay thousands of workers who are owed November and December salaries. The amount is part of the N213 billion virement assented to by Buhari yesterday, Daily Trust has learnt. Sources had initially told Daily Trust that the president had withheld assent because the National Assembly increased the budget by N33billion, but he was persuaded to sign the virement to enable some agencies pay workers salaries before Christmas. The Minister of Finance Kemi Adeosun had explained inability of some government agencies to pay November salaries saying the shortfall is to be augmented through the virement.
