“Road To Ghetto University”, the series aim to give fans a holistic
view into the work ethic of the singer as he records his music, with
different producers, and adds finishing touches to the work.
The
first episode of the series have been released via Youtube, and it
shows Runtown in London, working on a song with acclaimed producer
Maleek Berry. Also present in the studio was his manager and A&R
figure, Bankulli, who supervised the creation of the beat.
Runtown’s debut album “Ghetto Uiversity” was released in November. The album contains 17 tracks and features DJ Khaled, Wizkid on two records, Phyno, Davido, M.I, Uhuru, DJ Maphorisa, Anatii, Hafeez, with production credit from Shizzi, Uhuru, Killbeatz, JStunt and Maleek Berry.
