On Saturday, December 12, 2015, David Nail and his wife Catherine welcomed their twins to the world. The fraternal boy and girl twins were born one minute apart in the early morning hours.
“No words can describe the feeling,” the couple told in a statement after the birth on Saturday.
“Beyond worth the wait. We are crazy in love with them both.”
The
couple got married in 2009 and struggled with infertility, but stuck
together to get through it. The couple have openly spoke of their
struggle to conceive.
'We struggled with infertility for years and really just had to stick together to get through it,' Catherine said.
The pair already have names for their bundles of joy as well: Lawson Brent Nail and Lillian Catherine Nail. “Welcome Lawson and Lillian!” David wrote on his Instagram posting the pictures of newly born twins.
On
Wednesday and Thursday, the Night's on Fire crooner could hardly
contain himself in anticipation of finally meeting his newborns.
'Wide awake at 1:11. This must be my body practicing for our upcoming guests,' he wrote on his Twitter account. The couple announced their happy baby news for the first time at the CMA Awards in November.
“We
are beyond excited to finally be sharing this news with you all,” he
wrote on Instagram at the time. “We are extremely blessed and I am so
thankful for my ‘Fighter’.”
Nail recently
performed on ABC’s Country Christmas special, and is best known for hits
like 'Whatever She’s Got,' 'Let It Rain, and 'Red Light.'
