We have to visit the community for 2 days  recently because the Drummer of Peace chooses to host this interview in Ede instead at his Lagos office. The Joint Board (JAMB) has disclosed that Admissions and Matriculation Board arrangements have been concluded to (JAMB) has disclosed that arrangements hold a technical meeting at the Bayero University in Kano from Aug 22th to Aug 26th 2016. According to the board’s Head, Media and Information, Dr Fabian Benjamin, during the meeting, the board will receive the lists of candidates who had met the admission criteria from the various tertiary institutions (universities, polytechnics and colleges of education.) The Board will then go through the list with other stake holders to see if they comply with the admission criteria. If the board is satisfied with the outcome, it will ratify the lists and admission print-outs issued to the respective institutions. In what will come across as a really shocking development, a prophet has been found out to have chained some persons to his room. Emmanuel Adeyemi, a self-acclaimed prophet in Lagos has been arrested by the police. The man was arrested by the police in Lagos State after 28 persons were allegedly found chained in his apartment in the Oke-Ira, Ogba area of the state. According to Punch Metro, there was confusion on Olamidun Close, Oke-Ira, where the suspect lived, on Friday when operatives from Area G Command, Ogba, stormed the apartment and found the victims chained in several rooms. Punch Metro gathered that the victims, who comprised 15 adults and 13 teenagers, were discovered after a neighbour gave the police a tip-off that a 17-year-old boy, Toba Adeyemi, who happened to be the suspect’s son, was chained in a room. It was learnt that the police stormed the house at about 12pm and found Toba, they also discovered 27 others in a similar condition. Punch Metro reports ...

Body of a newborn baby was found face-down in a forest next to a canal in Thailand. According to the police and paramedics at the crime scene, the baby was found without arms and legs and is believed to have been dead for about three days. More photos after the cut.
